Meet our Family
Shields Lake Cheesecake is a proud family-owned business based in Faribault, Minnesota. What started as a personal passion project by our founder, Homa, has grown into a sweet family venture supported by her husband and son. While Homa also works full-time as an eCommerce Specialist, her love for baking and sharing joy through food led to the creation of our handcrafted cheesecakes—made from scratch with quality ingredients and care in every bite.
Today, Shields Lake Cheesecake is truly a family affair. Russ brings his creativity and problem-solving skills to the table, helping with production, deliveries, and operations, while our son is learning the ropes, lending a hand wherever he can, and adding his own touch to the family dream.
Together, we’re building something special—one cheesecake at a time. Whether it’s for a celebration, a restaurant menu, or a simple indulgence, our cheesecakes are made to bring people together.
